After the conclusion of the great Gas Monkey/Roadkill clusterf**k showdown at the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan, Freiburger and Finnegan’s next step was to set off on their Roadkill Takes America tour of the midwest, stopping at neat places along the way and racing whenever they got a chance. We were at the Bowling Green stop, and got to see just how cool this deal really was: this wasn’t just a circus act involving cars and two trainers, this was the Dynamic Duo interacting with as many fans as they possibly could. You’ll see the fun stuff in the video. What you won’t see much of is the time that David and Mike took to talk to people, either one-on-one or in group settings, something that really stood out. They didn’t have to have a Q and A session while leaning on the cars we’ve been watching on YouTube, but they did. They didn’t have to beat on these same cars until things broke, but they did. This is where the Dodge sponsorship pays off: the ability to put on events like this.
