After watching this video, we’re pretty sure that you’ll never want to drive a car in Russia. The crashes range from small fender benders to full scale wreckage and violence. There are also an inordinate number of clips involving people shifting their cars into reverse in traffic. That struck us as odd. But then again, there’s lots of smash-ups in here that make no sense at all.
Virtually all of these were recorded with dash cams, so we’re wondering if they were in police cars or if a lot of Russian people just drive around with dash cams to exonerate themselves when their car gets crashed up. Watching videos like this always triggers our “imaginary brake” pedal. You’ll find yourself steppingon a pedal that isn’t there to stop a couple of these!
The sheer carelessness is amazing. It’s like these guys aren’t aware there’s other traffic on the road. In US compilations you can usually see external factors beyond the drivers being idiots.
Remind me to NEVER drive in Russia.
I love how the passenger at 1:33 keeps her cool while being pushed by the obviously larger vehicule… like it happens all the time.

On the dash cams, if the laws are the same as in Cuba when there is some one injured or killed in an accident they NEED someone to blame for it. It’s the law. So a dash cam would be a pretty cheap insurance to save you from prison wouldn’t it?

There’s only 1 dash cam in Russia. The same guy just drives around running into stuff.
