The plate steel motorcycle frame is welded up and rolling on its own two wheels! This thing is definitely going to turn some heads with the unique shape and fabrication. We love it, and only wish that none of it had to get covered up as it comes together into a completed motorcycle. I love this project and it is fun to see just how cool a simple cnc plasma table can make your stuff. When Matt from Urchfab starts working on something, like the bitchin Mongrel project we are so in love with, he goes head first. So when he had a sponsor who wanted a custom motorcycle built, starting with an old chopper project, we knew he wouldn’t be leaving well enough alone. Watching how he’s built this custom bike frame, out of plate steel using his CNC plasma cutter, makes me so damn jealous! This is going to be a cool project, and one that should garner a lot of attention. Sure we’ve seen projects like this done before, but we’ve never seen anyone take us through the build from start to finish. And when we say start, we mean it. Check out the Urchfab channel to see Matt make the jig for building this bike, all from scratch. If you like fixturing and working on projects then this will be one series of videos you want to watch as well.
