The Psychotic Little Barbie Mustang Returns, With A Fresh Build!

I had started to wonder where this little mechanical bad idea had gone. The last time we had seen anything about the Barbie Mustang that is sporting the engine from a Honda street bike and, the last time we saw it, had been turbocharged and after a beach-drifting session, had started to hate life. From there, it seems to have sat in the back of someone’s shop for many months, with no real attention paid to it, collecting dust…kind of a sad fate for a screaming little bit of fun that had us wondering if one of the guys from Grind Hard Plumbing Co. had just decided to keep life and limbs intact and had backed out of the fun altogether. Luckily, they hadn’t, and recently pulled the monster Power Wheels back out into the sun for a quick once-over, some modifications to get the kart to run right, and some action.

With salt water damage, questionable electronics, and an engine that wasn’t too happy the last time we saw it running, the team behind this rolling deathtrap had plenty to work on. An entirely new wiring harness was needed, and some ignition faults needed to be addressed before the miniature crowd-killer could come back to life and do Mustang things, like drift around corners, make rowdy noises and give insurance agents bad dreams at night!

We’ve seen this thing on the street and on dirt. Guys, can we make a recommendation? We think it’s time for a proper track session with this little monster!
