This 1950 Chevrolet Pickup Is One Evil Mother! A Full-On Wall Of Tire Smoke, Fresh For You, From Nashville!

This 1950 Chevrolet Pickup Is One Evil Mother! A Full-On Wall Of Tire Smoke, Fresh For You, From Nashville!

I’ve seen Jason Moody’s 1950 Chevrolet in person before, and the one part of it you cannot miss are the wide-5 style hubs. What would otherwise come across as a patina’d pickup truck when parked screams “Don’t mess with me, boy, you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into here” once your brain makes the connection. It’s not like finding some Mickey Thompsons out back in tubs…you just don’t do a wide-5 hub conversion and stick on Hoosier slicks unless you are deadly serious about what you intend to do with your project vehicle. Moody’s Chevy is deadly serious…it comes across as a nice old farm truck that was Frankensteined together with a Modified race car to create the ultimate moonshine delivery vehicle. Without question, Junior Johnson himself would be pleased. And with the way the Chevy took out all comers during a burnout contest at the Nashville Speedway in Tennessee, so would more than a few Australians.
