We’ve showed you lots of great videos featuring the amazing Dakar support trucks that teams use to help them through the race. The crazy thing is that said support trucks are actually racing in their own class as well. They have huge diesel engines, thousands of pounds of parts and equipment in them, giant tires, lots of suspension travel, and this video proves that they have the ability to take flight. Of all the wild support truck film we have seen, NOTHING tops this. From the perspectives of speed, height, and distance, there’s no match for this jump. The best part is that the truck really doesn’t seem to care all that much. It lands and the driver goes hammer down!
The reaction of the fans is amazing as well. They’re all kind of yelling at the truck when they see it screaming at full bore towards the jump. When the truck takes flight, you’ll see at least one guy fold his arms up on top of his head in a physical gesture that seems to say, “HOLY BLEEP….DID THAT JUST HAPPEN?” We enjoyed that reaction….because we had the same one.
PRESS PLAY BELOW TO SEE THIS BIG GUY FLY!

There is a lot of bad ass’ness in that 9 seconds!
F@@K YEAH!!! Those truck are BAD ASS!
The drivers are probably 2″ shorter by the end of the race…….
No wonder my Red Bull is flat when I get it.
Crazy Russians, I think you’ll find. They’re Kamaz trucks and they fly regularly 🙂
