We’ve shown you the work of Headquake before. This guy builds some of the most detailed and capable remote-controlled models we’ve ever seen…they are correct-looking, they sport period-correct mods, and are even visually aged to look like what you might find roaming a trail somewhere. These are made-from-scratch units, done by hand in his shop, and come out looking so realistic that you have to really study the body to find the tiniest of indications that you aren’t looking at the real deal…or, you can wait until one of his cats walks by for a size comparison. Whether the body is made out of pine or komacel (PVC foam) doesn’t seem to matter…the same level of intricate detail, from the truck itself to the driver and even the cargo being hauled around inside of the truck is dead-on. Don’t believe me? The Ramcharger model has a box of records in the front seat and the giant cooler/console is hiding a section of the drive motors that would otherwise be sticking up through the floor. The suspensions flex just right. The tires have the right amount of “give” to look aired-down.The Jeep CJ has a removable hardtop. The only thing missing is the actual engine noise…they are detailed like movie filming miniatures and could easily pass off as the real deal when viewed in the right conditions!

Shame these are his pet projects and not something you could bring home…but they probably wouldn’t be half as nice if they were!
