We’re not sure why we killed an hour looking for old TV commercials, but maybe you can spend half that looking at this compilation of Camaro ads over the years. There are 19 videos here because once we get started on something we simply cannot help ourselves and we just couldn’t stop looking for more and more stuff. We’ve got them separated by year. The truly sad ones feature the Girl-inetta models from the 1980s.
The first one, with a volcano! Looks like it’s from Land of the Lost
This one’s actually a radio commercial
The Endura bumper, because women run into a LOT of stuff.
The Super Hugger, for people who really dig driving. Because it’s not how young you are. It’s how old you aren’t.
The return of the Z28 with “a high performance 350 four-barrel V8.” That made 185 horsepower.
“Dedicated to performance.” With a 305.
It seems George Michaels had a commercial acting career before Wham!
 The Girl-inetta. Wow.
The dude’s version. Sort of. At least it has real IROCs that make you feel like a champion.
Does this one have some man love, or is it just us?
 Big 5.0 Power
This is actually an interesting 6-minute training video.
 $10,995, “a heck of a good deal.”
When was the last time a Pro Stocker was in any corporate commercial?
From the country that invented rock and roll.
 Way better than a Mustang?
Because chicks love to hit mountain roads with their V6 Camaros
If only 12-year olds really cared about Camaros in 1993, GM might be OK now.
A lease offer and a cover band
It looks like GM stopped advertising Camaros after 1998. No wonder they didn’t sell! We didn’t bother to dig up any late model ads because well…they’re aren’t any.
Gov. Motors does run a ZL1 Camaro ad sometimes on cable. Your tax dollars at work . . . .
