Yesterday’s video of the old Army truck driving around the bottom of a lake was pretty great. We were then tipped off to some far more modern military truck action, this time featuring a machine called the Alvis Stalwart. This truck served the British military from the mid-1960s and has gone through several upgrades and redesigns since. It has six wheel drive and is apparently waterproof…at least we hope so!
Admittedly, this video peaks early. Seeing a truck the size of a small house launch off a cliff, headlong into a pond at full steam is pretty awesome. It must have felt like running into a cement wall inside the cab, though! We’d love to give it a try!
Thanks to Tony for the tip!
