Travis Pastrana has done so much bat-poop crazy stuff with cars that it reminds us that we should do a video compilation of it all. Until then, watch ESPN tonight to see if he succeeded with this crazy stunt: he is jumping his Subaru into Long Beach harbor in California, and attempting to land on a barge floating on the water.

The first video shows the car prep and a crash in practice. The second one includes info on how the fire dpeartment plans to rescue him if (if?) there is a mishap. We’ll know in a few hours how well the final stunt came off.

UPDATE: Done! Pastrana jumped a world record 269 feet, landing on the barge and surviving. He beat the old record by 98 feet. Read more here at SI.com or a much more detailed story at ESPN.com.
