Joe Grippo, the dude who normally shares awesome photos with us here dropped this nugget of absolute BangShift insane perfection onto my Facebook page a couple of days back. What you are about to watch is an attempt at setting the world’s record for the longest big rig jump. Let’s just say that it ends rough. Scott Godfrey is the guy driving the poor Freightliner that has been outfitted with a roll cage for this test. He builds up a giant head of steam, hits the jump and flies like some sort of North Korean intercontinental projectile…before landing like a North Korean intercontinental projectile would, which is in a huge heap.
The guy survives, the truck doesn’t and multiple angles capture this stunt in all of its epic glory. Truly freaking nuts!
PRESS PLAY BELOW TO SEE A BIG RIG CATCH AIR LIKE YOU HAVE LITERALLY NEVER SEEN BEFORE!
That’s what happens when you do 77 in an 88 mph zone.
“Missed it by THAT much . . . “
At :53 he’s saying to himself “OH! this was a BAD idea!!”
The video won’t play for some reason ?
DUDE!!! Next time forget the horn. It must have slowed you down. LMAO
Should have stayed awake in physics class. Better yet, he shouldn’t have dropped out of 6th grade.Guess how many coupons are left in his payment book!
My computer won’t run the version of Flash Player required to watch this video.
Tried to get my friend with a CDL to do that with one of the company trucks. He didn’t do it but got fired anyway?
i think the blue mule through the glass house sign is badder asser!
Might have pulled it off with out that big air catcher on top of the cab and taken of the front bumper.
Hopefully it wasn’t a leased truck!
They’re part owners of Godfrey Trucking, it’s more of a business expense haha
That’s from Nitro Circus The Movie, which is full of craziness just like this. Well worth watching.
“And I was about to make the last payment, too!”
