Wake Up Video: A Bad Ass Recreation of the Jerry Titus 1971 Pontiac Trans Am Road Racer

Is your Monday already headed down the tubes at work? Don’t fight it, just accept your fate that the day will suck and zone out, we’re here to help. A BangShift reader posted this video on our forum section and it really got the hair standing up on the back of our necks.

This is in-car video of a vintage road race being run over in Europe where this bad ass Pontiac lives. The car is a 1971 Pontiac Trans Am, built to look like the one that legend Jerry Titus campaigned in the United States during the heyday of Trans-Am in the early 1970s. It has a 700hp all-Pontiac engine, a four speed manual road racing trans (sounds like a dog box to us), and an apetite for everything else on the track.

Boiled down, you need to watch this video because an old school Pontiac eats a Porsche race car for lunch, or dinner as the video suggests!

Great video! Sound quality is excellent, and I just loved watching this guy tear past all the others! It was a tight match with that Porsche, though; makes me wonder if the Porsche guy missed a shift after that corner, and if he was still behind Mr. Pontiac for the rest of the race.
