Jeremy McGrath cut his teeth in the tough and crazy world of motorcross in the 1980s and 1990s. He moved to off road racing trucks several years ago and has proven himself to be just as gnarly a contender on four wheels as he was on two. These incredible videos, shot on ReplayXD cameras (just like we use!) show Jeremy McGrath’s truck launching off a jump during a race and landing directly on top of the truck of off road racing legend Carl Renezeder at Speedworld Raceway in Surprise, Arizona. We have seen some wild off road racing wrecks in our time, but actually watching one race truck literally land on another is a new one!
Off road racing trucks are probably the singularly most under appreciated racing vehicles in the world. They are built like rolling fortresses, fly and handle like nothing else, and have massive power to boot. We’ve seen guys finish races with trucks missing whole wheel and hub assemblies, flip end over end and then finish races, barrel roll and continue like nothing happened, and now dive bomb fellow racers!
We found two angles of this wreck and both are freaking wild. Press play on both videos to see it happen from Carl Renezeder’s view as the landing pad and from another racer’s perspective who was just passin’ by!
Remember, these were shot on the same killer ReplayXD cameras we use here at BangShift!
Daymn!!!!!! Lol that’s an awesome shot ! Did McGrath continue ?
The end of the video looks like he might land back on all four…
