The Holden you’ll see in the video is called UNLOAD as Aussies have this cool habit of naming their cars on license plates. Now, if there were truth in advertising and enough spots on the plate, MYASSISONFIRE would be the more appropriate name. I understand that Australian authorities may have rejected that proposal. But before the fire, there is lots and lots of crazy smoke, spinning, and sheer anger being spewed from the blown (presuming here) big block under the hood. The car does look beastly with the supercharger coming up from the engine bay and of course the fire helps to add to the toughness as well.

Being wholly unfamiliar with the rules of such contests and noticing a couple things I have questions. Firstly, is it legal for guys to purposefully set their junk on fire? This guy had obviously planned it because he removed the plastic rear bumper cover, lest it get melted in the fire. If this is a part of the program, how to they ignite the flammable mixture and what is the flammable mixture? I am fully in support of the fire angle here because it looks flipping awesome and the crowd seems to agree with me. It is neat that they put him out and let him start up again because the guy certainly finished with a flurry!

Oh you Aussies sure know how to party. I hope to some say catch a ride in the passenger seat of a car like this!
