Watch This Alcohol-Fueled 604ci Mopar B1 Smack This Dyno Around To The Tune of 1,885HP!

I swear, I had the full intention to find a Mopar engine that had puked it’s guts out when I was searching through YouTube. However, not thinking, I typed in the words “blown Mopar motor”, and in one of the happiest accidents I’ve ever had researching for a story for BangShift, I present to you the footage of this Mopar B1 motor on alcohol putting a dyno to a serious test. Sitting at a very healthy 604 cubic inches, the motor was built by Rob Bernhard for Floyd Morris’s 1968 Dodge Super Bee. The numbers are up there: on a “mild tune-up” the big bullet made 1,885 horsepower and 1,525 ft/lbs of torque. We don’t know if the Super Bee is a race car or a street car, but whatever the case it will be a sight to behold. “Does that thing have a Hemi?” Hell no it doesn’t!

Skip to 4:00 if you just want the dyno pull!
