BangShift member Rocky Phillips goes by the screen name Toymaker and for good reason. The dude scratch built a twin engine slingshot dragster called, “The Evil Twin” in his home shop. We’re talking chassis, getting the engines mounted and meshed together, he even built the intake manifolds. Phillips is now involved with Champion Spark Plugs and a contest they are running for sponsorship money. He needs your votes! Hell, we certainly think he earned them!
Champion is awarding five people $10,000 and one grand prize winner is getting $50,000 in sponsor money to do what they want with. In true gearhead fashion, Phillips wants to use his potential winnings to drag his incredible home constructed dragster around the country to run it in front of as many people and places as he can.

Rocky truly deserves the $$$$$…..what he’s done here in Calif is like a re-birth of drag racing.

Rocky really built a awsome toy !!! its not every day you see a twin dragster – its just one of those rides you`ll never forget – and the evil twin will only get better and better over time – and i cant say enough about Rocky he`s just a great guy who has helped to keep drag racing alive !!!
