Wreckin’ Rivalries Are Part of the NASCAR Scene

Wreckin’ Rivalries Are Part of the NASCAR Scene

Personal rivalries in racing have been around since the dawn of the sport. NASCAR has a bunch of individual rivalries that, every once in a while, get ugly. That being said, local short track rivalries beat the snot out of the professional level stuff because the professionals will never be winging wrenches at each other. On camera anyway.

Lots of guys complain off the track about each other, but the stock car guys have the ability to crash out their hated rival where the drag racers, boat racers, and others do not. This leads to some great stuff on television and in person. The season long business between Denny Hamlin and Brad Kaselowski was great to watch and shows no sign of letting up for 2010.
