Watch Two Insanely Modified Puerto Rican International Diesel School Buses Do Burnouts And Drag Race! One Of These Runs 13s!

No joke, although you cannot see the scoreboards at the end of this video the “winning” bus is capable of running in the 13-second time zone. How do we know that? We’re including an extra video of that same bus running at an eighth-mile strip in Puerto Rico and cranking off an 8.75/80 mph run. If you do the math, that works out to a 13.65/90+ mph shot on the quarter mile track! We’re not sure if they are still packing International engines of if those mills have been swapped for others, but these big buses absolutely wail. We’re almost thinking that they’ve been repowered with two strokes or something.

As we said the other day, there are drag strips all over the Earth. Hell, the tiny island of Puerto Rico has at least two as you’ll see here and the sport of drag racing has been alive and very well in that country for decades. Some of the baddest rotary powered cars in the world live down there and make the trip over here to the main land once or twice a year to mix it up. Hot rodders and drag racers exist in ever nook and cranny people live. Fact.

These buses are the stuff! If anyone knows more about them, fill us in below. We’re dying to find out what they’re using for engines and how they became race trucks. Is it bad that we want one now?

Anything that is loud and fast is worth looking at !! Wonder if they had delivered the kids before the race!!!!

I’m glad they didn’t have buses like that when I was going to school. They would have got me there too fast. But then they would have got me home sooner.
