We have posted hundreds of truck pulling videos over the years. Some of them show trucks and tractors just dominating the course and others show explosions and various incredible mechanical failures. This one highlights raw tenacity, brute strength, and a guy willing to take his junk to the absolute limit before admitting defeat at the hands of the most nefarious foe in motorsports…the sled. We’re not sure what the engine or axles are, we have no idea what the transmission is, or what Nobel prize winner supplied the driveshaft but we know that this thing is built like an anvil. The driveline is under max load for virtually the entire pull, working at low RPM with zero wheel spin and at some points it seems like each revolution of the ring gear is a miracle in an unto itself.
If there is a better example of “never say die” in the world of motorsports than this video we’re not 100% sure what it is. Under the lights at a pulling course in small town America somewhere, this is a BangShift approved rig, a BangShift approved scene, and a BangShift approved driver we’d like to supply a beer for. Oh, the guy that built the transmission also gets beers on us because that thing had some years taken off of its life in this adventure as well.
Ever seen that t-shirt that shows a bird that has swallowed a frog and the frog has its arms out the mouth of the bird and it choking the thing so it can’t swallow? Yep, this is that shirt is a huge, mud-caked Chevy truck.
