This is some kind of cool. A New Zealand grandmother, and former drag racer, has recently been cruising her killer blown-Hemi-powered 1934 Ford hot rod around the streets of Lincoln, New Zealand.
According to a story on New Zealand’s Stuff web site, a Ford body was found in Australia and most of the hard parts were imported from the good ol’ USA. The whole process took roughly a year, and it produced a nasty, right-hand-driver ’34. We’d roll with granny any time!
We can’t begin to imagine how much this husband and wife spent on shipping all this stuff to New Zealand, but the fact is they did it and now have one of the coolest cars in the country. Think about that level of dedication the next time you are about to swear your project off. It can be done, even in the toughest of circumstances. This is proof of that!
