There exists a rail road trestle in Durham, North Carolina. Said trestle only has 11 feet, 8 inches of clearance. Lots of trucks are 12 feet high and taller, so this presents a large problem. The video below shows the results of amateur truck drivers not heeding multiple warnings about the height of the bridge. Some really haul the mail into it, others bury the brakes in an effort to stop.
Most every driver in the video scalps their truck, and lots of them are rentals. The fact that there is a fixed traffic camera on this particular intersection is awesome. The footage totally rules.
