Project Car Spotlight: One Dirty Malibu Wagon

Project Car Spotlight: One Dirty Malibu Wagon

It’s no secret that, here at BangShift.com, we like wagons and getting dirty. Which means it’s only natural for us to do a Project Car Spotlight on DirtyWhiteBoy’s cool Malibu wagon project. The fact that DWB has been working on the wagon since 2006 when he got it as a cruiser for the wife, and it’s now turned into a much more fun hot rod project, should be of no surprise to most of you. But the fact that during this time DWB has done all the work himself, including two paint jobs, makes him a trooper in our book.

The quick version of this build includes frame rot, brake lines, an engine, lots of body work, a couple of black paint jobs, suspension, and more. The result is a cool, clean, and much improved 1982 Malibu Wagon that is now moving under its own power. When will it be totally done? We’re not sure, but we are certainly looking forward to the finished pictures, including burnouts!
