You’ve been asking for it and now it has arrived. Aeromotive has released its NEW 340 Stealth pump that is E85 compatible and filled with a host of new components to keep it happy while immersed in the fuel. E85 has gone from a novelty fuel to something that many hardcore performance car owners and racers use as the lifeblood of their efforts. We see it every year on Drag Week. E85 competitors are a tight knit group because they know where to get it and how to share it if the need arises. That group continues to expand and Aeromotive is now meeting your fuel delivery needs.
The company is rating these 340 Stealth pumps on E85 at 595hp naturally aspirated with EFI and 490hp with forced induction with EFI. On the carb side, the numbers are 700hp NA and 595hp forced. On gasoline the numbers are 850hp and 700hp EFI and 1,000hp and 850hp with a carb (naturally aspirated and forced induction).
Far more than just proclaiming them “E85 approved” the company has done lots of internal work on the pumps and added encapsulated armature featuring carbon commutators and brushes designed for use with E-85 fuel. The wiring and connectors have also been updated to withstand the properties of E85.
Remember, the embossed A on the pump means that it is an authentic Aeromotive unit!
