Yesterday’s look at the 409ci Chevy powered Riviera got us to thinking about Buick engines. The make has had some awesome power plants through the years and they’ve ranged from big inch eights to smallish turbo six cylinders. The Riviera would have been neato with some real tri-shield power under the hood, even though the 409 is certainly an iconic engine, Buick powered Buicks are just cool.
We scanned the globe for some cool videos of Buick engines running on the dyno stand, in hot rods and muscle cars. The variety in size, sound, and power level is pretty sweet!
