(Photos by David Whealon – DW-Photos website) – Intrepid shooter David Whealon shipped us a load of awesome action photos from the 2016 PDRA World Finals and if you are sitting in a frozen hamlet somewhere around the globe, these things will get your blood flowing again, especially that lead image! The PDRA wrapped up their season at Virginia Motorsports Park as they have done for several years and it was a humdinger of a race with more than 80 top sportsman cars on property and pro mods as far as they eye could see filling all of the top classes in the PDRA realm.
Being that the sanctioning body just had their championship banquet at the PRI show, we’re not exactly breaking news here when we list the winners below. Hey, we’re already counting the days until the season reopens in a couple of months and until the sport of drag racing reawakens from its mild slumber in January!
