Kevin at NitroArt Video is a BS forum member and a super talented guy with a video camera. He shoots a ton of door slammer and small tire races around Texas and the Southeast. His DVDs of the races are great but every year, his major release (in our eyes, anyway!) is the “Wild Rides” compilation from the previous season. His look back over 2011 is insane and we’ve only seen the first 13 minutes on YouTube. The full length move is two hours long.
As engine builders continue to find news ways to make incredible amounts of horsepower and chassis builders work to keep up by finding ways to get it to the ground, drivers also have to adapt and figure out how to make it all work. As you’ll see in this video, sometimes it all works too good and sometimes none of it works at all.
There are some amazing wheelstands, tremendous impacts, and great saves in this 13-minute teaser from NitroArt Video. You’ll be cringing and bracing for impact like we were by the end!
way to much lead in BS
Is Houston a race track or a demolition derby for two cars at a time? I have seen entirely too many cars wreck on that track…
Fist off thank you Brian, for the great write up and plugs. Now for the comments thus fare on the video. HMP is my home track in Texas and we don’t run slow cars there ever it is a heads up track only I’m there every weekend I’m not out of town videoing other tracks. Some guys just don’t lift when they should. I post many free video clips on my web site and you tube so yes it seams like a lot happens at HMP you better bring your balls or stay off the track is all I will say sorry. The track is all heads up and grudge racing 11 months a year they shut down for 3 1/2 weeks a year second week of Dec. and open back up Jan. 14- 2012 PS: Brian, you may post any thing you like from my web site at any time feel free to do so sir…..and any questions on any clip just ask me. Thank you Kevin Maurer
