This weekend’s American Powertrain Parting Shift focuses on frame twisting, gear jamming, big rig torque! The video was shot in Canada at the famed Rodeo du Camion and while it was taken in 2013, there’s nothing aged about it. This event still goes strong every year and is attended by throngs of beer swilling Canadians who show up to see the gnarliest working trucks in the world have what amounts to a bare knuckled brawl.
It is rare to see in-truck videos out of these beasts because the world of the high performance big rigs on this level is very secretive. Seriously, it may sound comical to say but no one wants to give out their information or secrets, especially if they have a fast truck. If these trucks have to get the hoods raised, normally there are shields or blankets present to keep onlookers from snooping around.
