Crazy Plus 100: How To Take A Ram TRX From 702hp To 802hp In No Time Flat

The Ram TRX is one of the most ridiculous pickup trucks ever produced by a factory, anywhere, ever. The 702hp truck was designed and created to take on the Ford Raptor, haul ass off road, and provide a wild on-road experience as well. The long travel desert runner suspension creates and interesting series of sensations behind the wheel. This video is great because it shows the whole process of making changes to the blower in order to bump the boost up. More boost, larger injectors, and tuning mean that the truck makes an even extra 100hp on the dyno.

This is some work! Between pulling the top of the engine apart to get the blower pulley swapped to creating a key in the crank snout to keep the pulley from spinning, this is not some afternoon job fora guy who has never wrenched before.

This said, the work is worth it for the gains. Insane that you can take a 702hp factory truck and basically make it into an 802hp factory truck in a matter of two days.

Cool but where will you get it serviced? EPA is cracking down and it’s not just diesel stuff.
I live in the pickers and dealers/independent shops will ask if your vehicle has been tuned. If it has they will kindly ask you to remove it from the property.

Sucks, but I get it. Shops have enough work and risking fines or jail isn’t on their to do list.
