When it comes to enjoying a classic muscle car, looking at it is one thing but driving it is where the magic really is. That’s the good news. The bad news is that most really good classic muscle cars are over 50 years old now and many of them still have their factory steering boxes in them. They leak, they get sloppy, they are heavy as hell, and ultimately they are a key component to enjoying your time behind the wheel. Borgeson has been the industry leader in steering box replacements and upgrades for decades now and the Mopar community is a part of that fun as well.
In this video we see a review of the Mopar box as given not by some slick influencer but by a guy who ponied up and bought one himself. His reasons are logical and straightforward. Firstly in one fell swoop he’s going to be taking 16lbs off the nose of the car, which is awesome. Add to that the fact that this is a bolt in, add to that the fact that it is a far quicker ratio box than the one coming out of the car, and finally add to that the knowledge that it is a box made with fresh parts and not some rebuild of questionable innards.
If your old muscle car is sloppy and wandering down the road, it’s time to fix it by calling Borgeson!
