For some reason, this little Plymouth Valiant Signet, makes me smile. When Brent hauled it home it had been sitting for years and years without running and had a back seat full of spare and new parts which might sound good, but might also sound like the reason it had been parked. It’s a real V8 car which makes it cool, and it’s in really solid shape when you consider that it is a Canada car. It has just a couple rust spots in it, none that can’t be fixed relatively easily, but it’s going to need a lot of interior help.
You have to watch this one because there are plenty of things that will make you cringe, several that will make you laugh, and a few that will make you clap.
I’ve said for years that if a car is parked, and was running when parked, as long as it spins over it will usually start and run. But when you find one that is sitting and partially disassembled, and get it from someone without any information on its history, you kind of have to roll the dice in order to see what the engine tells you. Brent is pretty good at that.
Watch, you’ll dig it.
