FINNEGAN FIXED HIS 632CI BIG BLOCK CHEVY WITH JB WELD!

FINNEGAN FIXED HIS 632CI BIG BLOCK CHEVY WITH JB WELD!

If you didn’t know, Finnegan bought a new drag boat last year and was planning on racing the hell out of it in California and the western states. On the first outing, after the boat had been sitting for some time, they had issues with water getting into the oil and were making milkshakes on every pass. They thought they had it sorted, turns out they didn’t, and ultimately didn’t finish the weekend the way they wanted. So they took the boat back to friends, did some work on it, and were hoping everything was ready for the first event of 2023.

Apparently, things didn’t go quite to plan, and there was some JB weld involved. Let’s see what happened.

Video Description:

Episode 131 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage picks up where we left off at the drag boat races with a big block chevy that had water in the oil.

going forward, the whole process of performing an improvised repair should go from being called “cobbled”, “back-yarded”, “alley engineered” “-rigged” (you fill it in) etc…. to “FINNEGAN’D” It seems to be his mode of operation.
