Car Show Photos: SoCal’s Ventura Nationals Was Packed With Amazing Rides!

(Photos by Wes Allison) Are you jonesing for more awesome event coverage? Want to check out some really bitchin hot rods, customs, and more? Then our Ventura Nationals photos should make you really happy, and they continue right here! I love this event, the vibe, and the cars that are here.  If you are new around here, then welcome. If not, you already know that we post more pictures from shows and events than anyone on the web and we bring you stuff nobody else even gets to. The Ventura Nationals was this past weekend and we’ve got a ton of photos from both outside and inside, so check them all out. If you missed our first gallery, there is a link below that will get you to everything we post from the Ventura Nationals.

The Ventura Nationals is one of those epic shows that really speaks to what the car culture of Southern California is all about. It’s hard to explain to people, but when you attend a show or race out there you’ll get it. This is a show that has a tremendous history, but whose fate this year was questioned due to the pandemic and we couldn’t be happier about the powers that be making it happen for 2021. Major kudos to the staff, sponsors, and vendors who made it such a success this year. Below you’ll find the first of several galleries we’ve got coming to you this week thanks to Wes Allison hitting the pavement to take lots of pics.

Whether you like traditionals, rat rods, customs, classics, muscle cars, trucks, or motorcycles, they can all be found at the Ventura Nationals. Anything Pre-1973 is allowed in the gates at this event, but our favorites are the traditionals, customs, and lowriders. One cool thing that sets this event apart though is the “Reliability Run” which is a loop around the Ventura area that is open to anyone who wants to show up and cruise on Sunday after Saturday’s epic show. We dig it, love to cruise, and love this aspect of the vent. It’s free, allows the locals without hot rods to check out a rolling car show, and it brings the community together. We dig it.

Check out the photos below, and remember that clicking on any of the photos will make it bigger and allow you to click through them all like a slideshow.
