(Photos by Wes Allison) We’ve been running our Cruisin’ Grand photos for the past few days, but we like to make sure you can get through them all easily so we’re making sure you can get to them all from one place right here. This is a classic cruise night event that really does have a special SoCal feel to it. The city of Escondido is a very well known and historic area that is one of the oldest cities in San Diego County. It’s actually inland, in a very cool valley, but is still just 15 miles from the coast. Because it is old and historic it has a great 1950’s downtown area that is Grand Avenue and this is where the cruise night happens. Each week during the summer Cruisin’ Grand is going on, with different highlights each week. This week’s photos show it all and you’ll dig them if you haven’t seen them yet.
Cruisin’ Grand has been on hold for quite some time because of COVID, but thankfully it is back and that means hot rods in downtown Escondido for a summer cruise night like only SoCal can do. Escondido is a historic SoCal town that is perfect for parking hot rods, walking the streets, and grabbing some food and drink. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find hot rods, customs, muscle cars, trucks and more. We’ve got all kinds of photos thanks to Wes Allison, and you can visit each gallery with the links below.
