Carl Casper Car Show 2016 Coverage: Wing Cars, Mopars, and Cool Stuff You’ll Love!

Carl Casper Car Show 2016 Coverage: Wing Cars, Mopars, and Cool Stuff You’ll Love!

(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – More than halfway through the 2016 Carl Casper show coverage.  Lots of stuff in here, but we were blown away by the winged wonder and its tale of long-distance travels.  In 2015 this Superbird drive from Jeffersonville, IN to Alaska and BACK.  9 days and over 5,000 miles.  That is the kind of thing most of us aspire to doing and never get the guts or the time to make it happen.  Epic road trip awesomeness.

Mopar, Ford, GM, and AMC were well-represented.  Quite a few pony cars were strewn throughout the show.  We noticed one very nice Fox-body with widened pony wheels and a short cowl hood providing a clean example of the Mustang nameplate.  Lastly there is was a silky-smooth ’67 Chevelle complete with a stick, dog-dish caps, and a white top.  Sweet.

Enjoy.

Great pics, something for everyone. Love the Javelin’s and that 65 Barracuda in particular.
