Mooneyes XMas Show And Drags Photos Start Right Here

Mooneyes XMas Show And Drags Photos Start Right Here

The Mooneyes XMas Show and Drags is one of the finest shows of there year. And it’s no surprise that it is quite possibly the best example of car culture that we attend all year. I know that’s a big statement, but this even really does encompass it all. The vendor’s booths, the drag strip grandstands, the show area, the staging lanes, and every single piece of parking lot in between is packed with people having a good time. There are a lot of events that we attend that say they are all about all these things, but Mooneyes seems to make it a reality better than most. The fact that the Southern California whether we know and love was pretty much on point this weekend didn’t hurt either. We had a bit of “marine layer” as they call the low hanging clouds, but that made the temps perfect and everyone happy to be hanging out eating, drinking, cruising, and listening to great music while also grabbing some great Christmas gifts in the midway. We approve.

Unfortunately non-mechanical circumstances kept us from bringing Daphne’s car out for the show, but that didn’t keep Cole and I from running around shooting photos of all kinds of cool things. If I had one complaint, it was that there didn’t seem to be as many Vans this year, although we were a bit late getting to the van area so we could be wrong. Regardless, the show was great, people were having fun, and there was a lot of hot rodding going on.

We have lots of photos, so we’ll be feeding you galleries all week.

    Chad,

Why’d you replace Christ’s name in CHRISTmas with an “X”? Do you have something against Jesus Christ? I’m sick of political correctness and its anti-Christian crap! It’s Christmas, damn it!
