McTaggart looked at me a little funny when I told him to go into the show and take photos of wheels. One wheel per car and then compile all of them into a photo gallery. He did a great job and the result is one of the neatest collections of photos we have from the 2016 SEMA show.

Wheels are a massive part of the high performance aftermarket and the fact that a simple round object can be made in so many different ways, styles, colors, is pretty amazing. This show brings out the best and the worst in the world of wheel styling. That’s our opinion, anyway. You see things that are truly beautiful and matched perfectly to the rest of the car and then you see stuff that looks like it should be on a clown car somewhere. The fun part? You may love the stuff we hate and the same goes for us and your tastes.
