There Is Nothing Like A Mid-Day Photo Gallery From Bonneville Speed Week 2017

We couldn’t just give you the one gallery from this morning could we? Hell no! So here is another gallery of cool photos from Bonneville Speed Week 2017 that Cole Reynolds shot. He’s a Bonneville virgin, like his mother, but both of them had a great time today at their first ever Bonneville Speed Week. I think Cole actually had a hard time shooting some stuff because he couldn’t figure out what he wanted to shoot first! Bonneville is that awesome in case you didn’t know it already.

Cars are running well over 400 miles per hour out here already, with George Poteet running almost 420 mph in Speed Demon and Danny Thompson running over 435 mph in the amazing Mickey Thompson Challenger II yesterday. What will today bring? We’re on the salt taking photos and finding out as we speak! We’ll have news shortly.

Until then, check out another batch of cool photos from Bonneville. Remember, CLICK ANY PHOTO TO MAKE IT LARGER AND THEN USE THE RIGHT AND LEFT ARROWS TO SCROLL THROUGH THEM ALL.

C/GR 453 is a local San Antonio car, missed the record last year due to a spin on the return run.
IIRC they are looking for 240mph.

I was out picking up the car I help crew on when Danny was on his qualifying run. His car sounded so strong, to bad he couldn\’t back it up?
