You can own this thing for less than $20,000 and to us, that sounds like one hell of a deal, especially when you check out the paint job and then look at all the work that’s been done to the car both inside and out. This 1968 Olds 88 straight axle gasser tribute is a really nice piece and while the whole thing does not fit our taste and style, the vast majority of it does and we know that people will lose their minds when you roll into a car show with a beauty like this. The roof, the lettering, ad the arrow straight panels that are drench in black paint between those to things are just fabulous. With no bumper up front the straight axle conversion looks even more dramatic, and we even dig the white walls.

The engine is a little 355 Chevy that has Olds type valve covers on it. That would be the first thing we would change. We’d build a nasty little solid roller 327 and have it dressed completely plane Jane with stamped steel valve covers straddling a tunnel ram. We’d also plug a four speed into the car, because why the hell not, right?

We cannot say that we are crazy about the interior. Again, the quality is totally there and it’s well turned out, it just doesn’t fit our personal style so that  would be another place for us to make some changes. This being said, we love the car an we love the price. Do you?
