2015 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals: More Great Show Photo Coverage

2015 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals: More Great Show Photo Coverage

(Photos by Dom Damato/DRD Photos) – Here’s another fantastic load of photos from the recently completed 2015 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals. These photos were captured from the lens of Dominic Damato at DRD Photos. Bring that Dom is a Chicago guy, this thing is right around the corner for him and he reports (like everyone else) that the event was filled with lots of cool stuff, especially the barn find section of the show organized by Ryan Brutt.

We truly love all of the vintage drag iron that gets put on display at this thing. Between that and amazing examples of rare option package and rare speed part equipped muscle cars, your eyes will bug out of your skull multiple times while looking at these photos. We’ll be back with more tomorrow.

What is it with the AMC Gremlin?

How can a car that was based on a full size model that was cut and shut into a compact look so cute – apart from when its been given a steroid injection like this one. It’s a pity AMC spoilt the party by bringing out the hideous mutant fish known as the Pacer..

These are great, some very cool cars there.
The 43Jr Barracuda makes me wonder. I have seen pictures of the remains of the crashed one and was told by the guy trying to buy it that Richard Petty would not allow it to be represented as being his old car. He still had bad memories of that crash.

So is that a replica or the real one (think there were two) and did Richard Petty give it his blessing? The Superbird is beside it so i’d have to assume he did.
