(Photos by Bryan McTaggart) – Before my mondo computer melt down a week or two ago we were showing you all kinds of great Bryan McTaggart photos from the 2015 Tri-Five Nationals which were held at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This was an event geared to celebrate the famed 1955, 1956, and 1957 Chevrolets that vaulted themselves into legendary hot rodding icons right off the showroom floor when they hit the market.

As you will see in these photos, people came from all corners of the United States and Canada to have fun at this event. Restored drag racing cars, customs, street cars, show cars, restored classics, they were all there in Bowling Green. From the chrome to the shoebox shape, these are cars that defined the American automotive industry during the 1950s. The continue to define the classic looks of that decade even today.
