(Photos by Jeff and Mike Burghardt) –Â You know, one of the unsung heroes of the massive 2018 NHRA Denso Spark Plugs 4-Wide Nationals was the title sponsor of the event, Denso Spark Plugs. How can you be the title sponsor and an unsung hero? Simple, you can work with a track and an organization during years when an event is not at its peak performance to help turn the thing not a monster. It was no secret that the spring Las Vegas race was not much of an attendance barn burner. The fall race with its proximity to SEMA and all of that stuff was always insane. Denso has been sponsoring this race for a few years and they hung with it and the payoff was a crowd more then double the size of anything the event had seen in years and years. Good stuff.
