(Photos by Mike Brooks) – While not every automotive idea is original, it is incredible how many still are. If we look at hot rodding as an entity that has existed for 80+ years it is unreal to believe that people are still shaping, changing, painting, and powering automobiles in ways that no one has seen before. Long story short, we have not run out of ideas yet and if this 2019 Detroit Autorama photo coverage is any indication, we’re a long way off from worry about that at all.

People hit car shows for a multitude of reasons. They like the color, they like the creativity, they like gathering ideas for their own projects. The Autorama casts a bigger shadow that virtually any other show in the hot rodding realm because people know that they are going to see the best of the best. Just getting your stuff into that show is an honor, let alone being recognized with an award or accolades. Don’t believe us? Check out these photos!
