Blown Godzilla Lives! Watch What A 3.0L Whipple Blower On A Hot Rodded 7.3L Godzilla Does For The Power Numbers – Insane!

When last we left you, the Brian Wolfe Godzilla 7.3 Ford V8 project made about 800hp naturally aspirated on the dyno and was awaiting the installation of a healthy 3.0L Whipple supercharger. This engine, to review uses a factory rotating assembly aside from pistons, factory heads that have been heavily ported by VED, a factory block, factory valve covers, coils, and other hard parts with most  of the work coming in the form of induction and camshaft wizardry. Brian Wolfe’s goal is to show that this 7.3L package can be a killer race engine and this one, when done will land in a Mustang that he’ll run Ultra Street with. That means the thing will need to run in the lower half of the 4-second zone in the eighth mile and that’s no small shakes.

You are going to see the engine, watch multiple pulls, and experience an even more awesome sound as this thing with the blower on it makes noise like you won’t believe. It was a roaring monster naturally aspirated but with the huffer loaded on top, all that goes to an entirely new level.

How much power does it make? We want you to watch and see. We can tell you that the peak comes at 7,900 rpm. We can tell you that it’s making about 16 psi of boost. And finally we can tell you that there’s a larger Whipple on the way for it already. You’ll see why when you watch. This thing rules!
