There’s nothing like a good ol’ fashion engine dyno video. Each one gives us a cool little window on someone’s combo, what kind of power it is making, and perhaps a little time to dream of an engine we want to have someday. We’re not thinking that that there’s a BangShifter out there who will watch this video and think, “Nah, don’t want one of those…”. Why? This is a 528ci twin turbo hemi that makes 3,100+ horsepower using Q16 fuel and 94mm turbochargers.
This engine belongs to a Aaron Peeple and it rises in a classic Dodge Charger. As the intercooler is located somewhere in the passenger compartment we’re guessing that the car is a drag machine but the cool thing is that when Peeple sent the engine to Morris to get the valvetrain sorted out he had him also develop a 93-octane tune and a Q16 tune. Street and strip fun!
On 93-octane it made 2,161 @ 17psi and on Q16 it made 3,145 @ 30 psi of boost. Yowza! You will see the pull and you’ll look a the dyno sheets with Morris himself talking about how the engine responds. We can tell you that when the turbos come in, this thing runs right up the rev ladder hard!
528ci, Stage V heads, Stage V valve train, twin 94mm turbos, an Indy intake manifold, and horsepower for days. What’s not to love?!
