25 Year Growth Curve: Aeromotive Expands Kansas Operation

When you build the best products, give great service, and strive to lead an industry with innovation good things typically happen. For Aeromotive, the last 25 years have been marked with those three things and the good stuff keeps happening. The announcement from the company that they are expanding to take advantage of all their available building space is really great.

This is a company that employs a bunch of people and all of them take pride in the work that they do. Having been to their facility multiple times over the years and seeing how they operate it is no wonder that these guys are in the position that they are.

Street, strip, marine, off-road, it does not matter. Aeromotive has the fuel system products that you need and with even more room to operate in, they show no signs of slowing down or letting up!

Here’s the news from Aeromotive – the growth continues!

LENEXA, KANSAS — Performance industry mainstay Aeromotive has added new space to its headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas. Until recently, the fuel delivery company housed sales, tech and office personnel in one building, while engineering and R&D were in a neighboring building shared with the SEMA Data Co-Op. Starting Sept. 1, 2019, Aeromotive will be the sole occupant of both buildings.

The additional square footage allows Aeromotive to move all sales, tech, office and engineering personnel into one building, increasing ease of communication between departments. A newly designed “engineering bullpen” will serve as an incubator for the engineering team to collaborate on new designs and innovations. The second building will now be used for R&D and inventory.

“We are excited to add this new space and welcome the opportunity to restructure our facility,” Johnson Barrick of Aeromotive said. “By bringing the sales, tech and engineering departments together under one roof, we can greatly increase workflow and communication across the company.”
Additionally, Aeromotive has combined the sales and marketing teams into one department. The new Sales and Marketing Department is led by Barrick, who was previously Aeromotive’s Sales Director.

The company also hired Sumner Hylton, a Kansas State graduate and accomplished freelance designer, in a new marketing coordinator role.

“Aeromotive is having a very successful year this year and want to keep our foot on the pedal.” Barrick said. “After 25 years in business, we are excited to enter new markets, such as the side-by-side and ATV market, with new products and solutions. We are all about innovative forward thinking solutions to complex fuel delivery problems”
