Jeff Lutz’ New 1957 Chevy Is Getting Close To Done, See How It Came Together Here

Jeff Lutz’ New 1957 Chevy Is Getting Close To Done, See How It Came Together Here

Jeff Lutz crashed his famous, yellow, ’57 Chevy about a year ago. Not long after he decided he was in fact going to rebuild the car and got a shell to start with. And then the work started. Now the car is getting close to being finished and Jeff is showing us all how it got here. In this first video of the series Lutz talks about the car, the Evil Twins, and how all this got started, along with the plans for the new car. We’ll share the rest of the series too, so make sure you check back for that one as well.

I’ve been all across the country with Jeff over the years, on plenty of Drag Week events and more. He’s as hard core as anyone, always aims to win, and has a pretty impressive track record. Will the new car be able to keep up with how well the others cars have done?

Watch this video and let us know what you think about the new plan.

I am old and old school, so I love ’57 Chevy’s. I really don’t care how Lutz got this car – from a junkyard, a barn or a museum. What is important is that it will be seen and appreciated. While I don’t closely follow Lutz and his activities, anyone who can build and race an iconic car with such an aerodynamic disadvantage and also be competitive is fine with me. It is good to see this car and its style on the racetrack vs. all the routine slippery jellybeans. Good luck to him.

Anyways, wish you luck in your build!
