This is Holley’s Single Plane 4500 Split-Design Race Intake. The Split-Design refers to the fact that this intake does in fact split in half lengthwise and is bolted together with a rubber gasket when you are ready to run it. The intake comes ready to run, but if you want to do some of your own porting, polishing, or shaping inside this intake then it couldn’t be easier. When you can open the intake up and look right down the ports, it makes it a lot less work to make changes inside it.
