When MSD first came out with these solid state relays, I was in love. These blocks simplify wiring of relays by combining some of the wiring into one unit that effectively replaces four separate relays. It simplifies the wiring by using just one main power input, and one output per relay “channel” if you will. In addition, there are smaller inputs used specifically for controlling the function of each of the relay’s channels. They can be triggered either by 12V+ or Ground. And they are available in both a 20 amp and 35 amp version, where each channel will support that load indefinitely. It will support considerably more than that for shorter times, and the chart showing this is below.
MSD’s Solid State Relay takes the place of 4 standard relays which eliminates unsightly wiring. These solid state relays are faster acting, less sensitive to shock, vibration, and moisture. Get this compact and clean designed solid state relay to make your wiring project a breeze!
