We’ve been sharing all the build videos on this DD Speed Shop 1957 Chevrolet project and it’s getting close to done after a jillion hours of welding in dozens of free patch panels. But the chassis was done up to be a big tire car several videos ago and now it is time to actually cover those big meats with a set of tubs. This video is going to be all about wheel tubs and the trunk as Dan gets this thing closer and closer to being a finished ride!

Video Description:

WELDING! More dang welding! I don’t even wanna know how many feet of weld I have layed down and ground off.

Today we finish welding in the 1 piece floor and move on to the only unfinished part of the car… The trunk.

The trunk and wheel tubs have been cut out since I brought the car home. Luckily when I made the deal it came with a set of widened wheel tubs. A little cutting, a little grinding and we got the widened wheel tubs stuffed in.

With the leaf springs re-located a HUGE rear tire will fit under this hotrod. Pro Street 1957 Chevy, here we come!
