Real Good At Doin’ Stuff Extreme Tactical Interview 1!!! First Part Of A Two Part Interview With Greg Slack!

Peter Harrell from the Real Good At Doin’ Stuff YouTube channel, and Harrell Engine and Dyno, is an engine building and tuning expert. He’s been building and tuning racing engines for decades and he’s got great experience that he thinks should be shared. His video channel is not only fun, but also shares lots of technical data, some of which is normally tightly guarded by other builders and tuners. But not Pete.

In this video he’s talking with Greg Slack, a very well respected torque converter specialist, who provides converters for some of the quickest and fastest cars in the country. Greg has been building converters for some of Pete’s customers for years, including Lyle Barnett, Mark Rogers, Justin “Red” Martin, and more.

Like Pete, Greg believes that sharing information is a good thing and that it makes racers better. So in this first part of a two-part series, you are going to learn some stuff if you watch it through.

That’s a cool old Warner-Swasey turret lathe in the background. You can cover a lot of CNC ground with one of those, especially if the parts are fairly simple.
